SADMANS medications are a group of medications that require cautious use or monitoring in specific situations, particularly in patients with acute illness, dehydration, or renal impairment. Often, these are held when a patient is admitted to hospital. These medications may increase the risk of adverse effects, such as dehydration, low blood pressure, kidney injury, or lactic acidosis, under certain conditions, and should be managed accordingly.
